Signs of Three

The episode that almost made us feel happy.
First off, John and Mary get married.

Molly's getting more awesome by the second.

And Sherlock gets drunk

...and makes a speech. 

But all in all, it looks as though this is going to leave us feeling mildly pleasant.

...because this is Moffat we're talking about, people.

Anyway. Sherlock left early. Just like Mrs. Hudson was talking about. "The end of an era."

AND HE WANTED TO MAKE EVERYTHING PERFECT FOR JOHN AND IN THE END HE'S ALONE.

Oh. And by the way - 

Just thought I'd leave that there. IN CASE YOUR SOUL WASN'T CRUSHED ENOUGH.

And there's still one more episode to go.

Moffat has already finished writing it.
And he says it will return 'quickly'.

The Empty Hearse

So. After two years of waiting, here it is. The answer to the final problem. The Empty Hearse.
And we get the resolution immediately. Nice Moffat. No more waiting.

...is that a bungee cord?

I waited. Two years. FOR THIS?

Sitting on the couch. 

Don't cry. Cry and Moffat wins.

Oh.

Wait. 

That was a fake.

MOFFAT! 

So the episode progresses as usual. Terrorists. Overcoats. Feels.

We meet Sherlock's parents.

Moffat gives us another fake answer.

John and Mary are getting married in the next episode.

Sherlock kisses Molly. Twice.

And Moriary almost once.

We suffer through a solid twenty minutes of John's mustache. 

Sherlock finally nearly apologizes. 

And Moffat leaves before really telling us anything.

As expected.
