Two Groups

When I went up to the Wisconsin Dells with my Girl Scout troop, there were two completely separate groups of girls, both in the same troop, and both the same age. There was
                                                           
                                                                                      Group A
                                                         

Group A was sitting at the kitchen table, either talking about Katy Perry, listening to 'Call Me Maybe' on their Ipods, applying makeup, comparing jeans or avidly reading Seventeen magazine, even though most of them were only twelve.

                                                                             

                                                                          

                                                                                    Group B

      

The girls in Group B were the same age, sitting on the back porch, still in PJs, sucking at the last of their Pixie Stix, talking about pit bulls and busying themselves with a box of crayons and a coloring book.
